Hi, I’m Mark Priestap, a web designer from Whitehouse, Ohio specializing in simple, beautiful & effective user interface design. Designwise.me now serves as my personal portfolio and storefront for organizations looking for a website facelift or front-end development help. During the day I am Sr. Web Designer at Desiring God.

Design is about problem solving. You know your business and what your needs are. My job is to figure out if/how a new design for your website can accomplish your goals. If there are no problems to solve, there’s no need for my services! But then, who doesn’t have problems to solve?

Until recently, Designwise was an arm of SPOKE, a multifaceted and talented design shop in Toledo, Ohio. My relationship with SPOKE remains strong and I will continue to be part of their great work, but yes I am once again taking inquiries through my contact form.

Personal

My wife Meredith and I were married in 1999 and have three children who are not quite old enough to hire as interns. We attend Peace Reformed Church in Napoleon, Ohio where we are weekly reminded that while we are yet sinners, Christ died for our sins, freeing us from the power of sin and death and making us sons of God, on whom we trust, for he alone is able to save. We were once guilty, but he has taken our guilt on himself. Now the dread of God’s wrath is gone and is replaced with rest and peace.
